"Perseverance in the Face of Failure"
To illustrate the strength, perseverance, and growth that humans are capable of, I created this short piece that highlights our battles against failure, setbacks, and disappointment.

You may have noticed that Scene 3 looks different from the storyboard and the original animation. This was actually my first idea, but I changed it because I couldn’t find a seamless artistic way to connect Scenes 2 and 3. So, I adjusted the composition of Scene 3 to make the transition smoother, and the final change made it easier to move from Scene 3 to Scene 4 as well.
You might also notice that the final version is much more stylized compared to the style frames. This is because I recreated all the shapes in After Effects from Illustrator, which gave me more creative freedom and made it easier to develop the style I aimed to achieve.
To achieve a very natural and smooth eye movement, I recorded a reference video of myself making eye movements. With this reference, I was able to capture precise timing and gain a deeper understanding of human eye motion, which helped me replicate it accurately.
